Friends of the Botanic Garden
Incorporated in June 1971, the Friends of the Botanic Garden is a registered charity that has provided support for the development of the gardens and facilities at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden ever since. The objectives of our volunteer board of trustees are to support the garden through fundraising activities and to promote the enjoyment of the garden by our members and the community at large in any way we can. Over 5 million dollars has been contributed to the Botanic Garden through the years and many of the wonderful features at the garden are the visible result of the dedication of Friends volunteer members. We welcome new members at any time and we invite you to visit our website and social media sites for more information about the Friends and our fun activities! Help us help the Garden Grow!
